Coffee Fighter

This is what I did today in school. (Well, minus the horrible Photoshop filters we had to use.)

Modelling competition!
We were told to model some kind of machine. Our teacher said that vehicles were considered as machines.

As the only two things I could think about was either Wonderbot from Robots or a TIE-fighter, that made me really happy. For what better for a rabid Star Wars fan?!

And so, my idea was to make a half-crashed (like the nanosecond after impact) TIE-fighter turned coffee machine!
(We had to model a display and control buttons so...)

Then I realized that I wasn't going to be able to model a complete TIE-fighter in time as I'm not good enough at modelling. So here it is: a customized TIE-fighter!

One classmate told me it looked scary. He said that it felt like it was going to swivel around and target you if you'd dare come near it with a coffee cup. If you still ventured forward, it would shoot scalding coffee at you, haha!

Maybe I should try and animate that someday.
